January 20th – Lighting up your pond and clever ways lighting can enhance your pond enjoyment at night presented by Gary Koscielski, owner of Water Garden Gems (location is at Water Garden Gems at 3230 Bolton Rd, Marion, TX 78124) Click on videos tab above to see recap of all meetings.
February 17th – The world of muck - keeping your pond clean presented by Peyton Stefek, owner of Peyton’s Pond Service. The meeting will be held at Water Garden Gems. Click on videos tab above to see recap of all meetings.
March 16th – Adding water plants to your pondscape presented by our new VP William Rudder (The location will be at the San Antonio Humane Society on 4804 Fredericksburg Rd.) Click on videos tab above to see recap of all meetings.
April 8th - 11:30 Total solar eclipse watch party at Katrina and Keith's house. BRING YOUR ECLIPSE GLASSES. They will provide sandwiches so please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert. (Note: This is not a club function but they have invited us to join their friends and neighbors.)
April 20th – Are you providing a healthy diet for your fish? All about Fish Nutrition presented by Javier with San Antonio Koi. (The location will be at the San Antonio Humane Society on 4804 Fredericksburg Rd.) Click on videos tab above to see recap of all meetings.
May 18th – 12:00 p.m. Our Spring Fish and Plant Swap and Picnic! Hosted by Lynn Lamprecht.
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Setup of your sharing items, plants, fish, potluck contributions and raffle donations, pick up your swap tickets
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Potluck lunch
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Swap and raffle
June 1-2nd – 29th Annual Austin Pond Tour – Road Trip! We will carpool each day and have a lunch stop, plus a visit to The Hill Country Water Garden Nursery.
June 8th - 2024 San Antonio Festival of Flowers from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Location will be in the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium at 901 N Loop 1604 W. That's between Stone Oak and Blanco on the outside of the Loop.) We will have a membership booth there and would love to have volunteers to help staff it. Shifts will be 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Volunteers will get in FREE. Please click on the email link below and let us know that you'd like to volunteer so we can make arrangements for your FREE entrance.) Arrive early to get your best plant selection!
June 15th – Our own WGC 4 home Mini Pond Tour and picnic lunch (Locations in the Spring Branch area. )
July 20th – Joint meeting with the Texas Koi & Fancy Goldfish Society. All about goldfish – come learn about their history, types, health issues, and what to look for if you want to buy show quality goldfish. Whether you’re into comets or fancy goldfish, come and learn all things goldfishy. Meeting will be presented by Tony Reynolds. He has been the goldfish judge for every one of the 31 Annual Koi & Fancy Goldfish Shows held at Water Garden Gems. (The location will be at Jackie and Marvin's home. August 17th – Summer heat - the importance of water quality and flow presented by Gary Koscielski, owner of Water Garden Gems and Vivid Solutions (The location will be at Water Garden Gems at 3230 Bolton Rd, Marion, TX 78124) Bring a sample of your pond water for testing. October 12th – Fall Fish and Plant Swap! Above-ground plants are also welcome to swap. (The location is Deb Poloson’s house.) The schedule is listed below:

October 19 - 20th – 32nd Annual Texas Koi & Fancy Goldfish Society Fish Show We will need at least 4 members to volunteer at each event both days. We work in a.m. and p.m. shifts 4-hour time slots both Saturday and Sunday. Set up on Saturday 8:00 a.m. – Sunday breakdown 4: 00 p.m.

November 16th – Benefits of adding and maintaining a bog. Carlos Flannery, Owner of Aquatic Escapes, will be discussing bog filters. He will show us various plant ideas for bog beauty and function.
